Bollywood producer and actor Abhishek Bachchan has struggled with dyslexia since he was a child.
When he started making it in the Bollywood business, Bachchan did not try to push his dyslexia out of sight from fans or the media. Rather, he thought it was important to share his story and promote for learning disability awareness groups such as Prerna, a public trust that supports children with learning disabilities.
He has starred in Bollywood hit films such as “Dhoom” and “Yuva,” and he also played a part in the creation of fellow Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s film “Taare Zameen Par,” a film that follows a young, dyslexic boy struggling through school.
